I know that volunteering at a trail race is a potentially hazardous activity. I certify that I am medically able to volunteer. My responsibilities include but are not limited to; lifting and transporting equipment, supervising road crossings, assisting runners, and setting up and breaking down equipment, including but not limited to tables, canopy tents, start and finish line infrastructure, etc. I assume all risks associated with volunteering for this event, including, but not limited to, lifting and transporting supplies, vehicular traffic, falls, contact with participants, the effects of extreme weather, and the conditions of the trails. Knowing these facts and in consideration of your acceptance of my volunteer application, I now, for myself, my heirs, my executors, administrators, or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue and waive, release, and discharge the organizer of this event - St. Croix Running Company LLC and any individual and organization associated with; local government and police; volunteers, and any sponsors, including their agents, employees, assigns or anyone acting for or on their behalf, from any claims of liability for death, personal injury foreseen or unforeseen, known and unknown. The undersigned further grants full permission to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for any legal purpose.
